Learn how to prepare every Yebitom product the right way. From the 2-minute Hausa Koko to the perfectly smooth Wheat Semolina.

Method 1: Hausa Koko (Instant)

Hausa Koko is the only Yebitom product that doesn't need to be cooked on fire. Just hot water, stir, and you're ready in 2 minutes.

Boil hot water
Boil water in a kettle or pot. You'll need about 1 cup of hot water per serving.

Add the powder
Pour 2-3 tablespoons of Hausa Koko into your cup or bowl.

Pour & stir
Pour the hot water directly over the powder. Stir well until fully combined.

Cover & serve
Cover briefly if you like, then drink hot. Add milk or sugar to taste if desired.

Method 2: All other Yebitom cereals

For Wheat Semolina, Rice with Coconut, Tombrown, Cereal Mixes and all other Yebitom products โ€” use this two-bowl method for a perfectly smooth, lump-free bowl.

Boil water on stove
Boil water in a pot on the stove. Quantity depends on how thick you want it.

Mix powder in separate bowl
In a separate bowl, mix the powder with a small amount of cold or lukewarm water. Stir until smooth โ€” no lumps.

Pour & stir into boiling water
Slowly pour the smooth mixture into the boiling water while stirring continuously.

Cook 15-20 minutes
Keep stirring as it cooks and thickens. Cook until you reach your desired consistency.

Finish & flavour
Add a small pinch of salt (this brings out the flavour!), sugar if preferred, plus optional milk, honey, or fruit.
